"apt-get install xmltv" doesn't work
Does anyone know where i can get xmltv and all the depencies for it to download???
I looked on several tutorials and they said use apt-get to install xmltv. So i installed apt-get and I ran "apt-get update" and then i tried installing xmltv from it but none of the sources that are in the conf file have xmltv on their servers. Could someone please list a server that i can add to the conf file or could someone point be to a website for it. Thanks. |
I had a similar problem recently. I fixed it by adding all the mirrors listed at http://apt.freshrpms.net to my /etc/apt/sources.list file. There is a link there to a list of repositories. There does seem to be a problem with a few of the default servers right now. Not sure what it is though.

I am running Redhat 8.0 is ok to add sources that are for Redhat 9,7.3,7.2, etc?

I don't think so, but there are a lot of sources for 8 the last time I checked. I think using the other ones would download the wrong packages.
