apt-get install cvs problem !!!


I was installing cvs with apt-get and thhis is the otput process

What sort of error is this ? Have i to create a dir/file first ???

Since the error message comes after "Setting up cvs (...)", I would assume that it's a bug in the postinst script. Try getting it from a differnt mirror, or installing the version from testing (testing is in fact mightily stable ).

Also, if you've got a knack for shell scripting, look in the install scripts. Try running them with bash -x.
