apt-file in Debian


Hi! I have Debian 3.0 woody and a want to install apt-file.
When i make a "apt-get install apt-file" i get the following msg:

...
...
Sorry, but the following packages have unmet dependencies:
apt-file: Depends: libwww-perl (>= 5.53) but it is not going to be installed
E: Sorry, broken packages

A few days ago i had sources from sid in my sources.list. Now i do only have the stable sources. Does it somthing to do with it?

Hi Donald , try apt-get install --fix -missing
See if that will fix it .

The same error. I try it with --fix-missing and --ignore-missing

Yes, it needs a package from sid, just remove the sid entries in sources.list, apt-get update, apt-get install apt-file and it should be ok.
