Applet cannot connect to VMware on server...

I am attempting to spin up virtuals using VMware through a Java Applet. The client/server relationship obviously works just fine (not losing packets or anything). The website shows the virtual copying and booting, but it never runs the Applet to connect to the VMware. If I access the virtual directly using the VMware on the server it is running, but for some reason the Applet can not connect to it. I checked the port numbers and the ip's but nothing seems to work. Any suggestions?
