We are developing a YouTube like application, and we have our first server running. The application is replicated several times using virtual hosts.
What would you recommend to monitor incoming /outgoing traffic for each virtual host. I have used MRTG in the past but i thought it wouldn't hurt to get new opinions.
An added plus would be if i could get detailed information, not only rough traffic.

PD: I am currently using Google Analytics to see usage statistics.

If you're trying to monitor which URLs are being accessed, awstats may do what you need There's a comparison of awstats and some other logfile analysers here if that's the type of functionality you're looking for.
If that's not what you're looking for there are similar tools to mrtg. The article here mentions several; OpenNMS, Cacti, Nagios, Zenoss & Hyperic
