apc backup software


Hello im new to linux and I just today installed apc backup software off rpm find. I cannot show the hyperlink because I havent posted 5 posts, but if you go to rpm find and search its this file apcupsd-usb-rh9-3.10.6-3.i386.rpm

I used YaST and everything installed correctly. My problem is I cannot locate the program to run it..I am using suse 10...I would really appreciate some guidance, Thanks alot.

do they have a web site?

docs?

i use sbackup (Simple Backup).. does shh, ftp & local backups--- and most importantly, it WORKS.

is was a special 'google' project last summer.. check it out.

Thanks...I have the software that is compatable with windows and it lets me monitor my backup with the stats and all, but I cannot seem to find monitoring software for linux? Are you familiar with the powerchute software from apc?

install webmin (all modules if possible).

it will help you configure your systems.

i don't know if sbackup monitors everything, but you can read up on that.

and what do you mean by compatable with windows... i would think all backup programs (mostly) backup fat or ntfs.
