Apache Webserver - Need a Login-Interface, to administrate the webpages & post sth.
Hello at all!
I installed the Apache webserver successfully, but I need a little bit more as only a "Page to viewing".
I wanna login at the webinterface and wanna be able to post "News" on a page, which is already available. I also want to be able to edit some pages. And it were be better, if there user can register themself and login as "Member". If they're registered as member, I wanna be able to assign them to a group like "Administrator".
A little info to my webserver, if it help you: I installed only "apache2" on a "Microknoppix" (Knoppix). The files for the server are CSS- and HTML-Files.
Can me help somebody, to find a solution for this "problem"? Thank you!
Yes, most wordpress instances run on apache. they are UTTERLY different things. You aren't "combining" them in any weird way any more than you combine your physical computer with an operating system.
"I tried it, but it doesn't work" is hardly informative, what are you expecting us to say? There are a HUGE number of wordpress installation guides out there. With such high quality documentation out there, we are not going to personally walk you through something like this.
an HTML code? Are you even really aware of what HTML is?
Sorry, that you had to wait so long for my answer.
Well... I installed wordpress, discoverd Google and created a database with a structure. After the installation and configuration I was a little bit confused about the differents of an article and a page. But... Yeah! It still works!
There is just one problem left: Understanding wordpress, that I can create my website like I want.
