apache web server ..


i'm try to look for a setting that i could change before i compile apache server... the setting where apache hold the version of the httpd, name of http.. it's for security purpose..

as you click on this links..

If you're just trying to remove the text strings, you just need to change the default files that are used for displaying error messages and the directory listing templates.

But I believe most scans go deeper than that by checking for certain signature bytes in their probes. It would probably require some source hacking to get around this.
