Apache, virtual host, access problem

I'm trying to set up two vhosts on my Apache 1.3.27 server. The first is the default one and it is working. When I try to reach the second one via http://othervhost.domain.com/ I get 403 "You don't have permission to access / on this server".
Here is what I have in httpd.conf about vhosts:
Code:
NameVirtualHost *:8080

<VirtualHost *:8080>
ServerName vhost.domain.com
ErrorLog /home/ivanatora/apache/error_log
CustomLog /home/ivanatora/apache/access_log custom
DocumentRoot /var/www/htdocs2/
</VirtualHost>

<VirtualHost *:8080>
ServerName othervhost.domain.com
ErrorLog /home/ivanatora/apache/othervhost/error.log
CustomLog /home/ivanatora/apache/othervhost/acces.log combined
DocumentRoot /home/othervhost/html_root/
    <Directory /home/othervhost/html_root/>
      order allow,deny
      allow from all
      AllowOverride All
    </Directory>
</VirtualHost>
The server is run with user 'ivanatora' and group 'users'. The /home/othervhost/ dir owner is user 'othervhost' and group 'users'. I've granted a+rw permissions to that dir, but this didn't solved the problem. I don't have any .htaccess file there. Some other ideas?

The apache server must have access to every part in thd Document path.

Your second host lies under
Code:
/home/othervhost/html_root
PLease check that each part her eis accesibla to th euser group:
Code:
/home/
/home/othervhost
/home/othervhost/html_root
If one of these fail (maybe /home/othervhost) Apache will not process the document sunderneeth this directory.

I solved the problem
I had to add
Options Indexes
for /home/othervhost/html_root/ dir
