Thumbs up Apache Tomcat in RHEL5

  • Dear All;
  • I am trying to configure simple tomcat with apache in rhel5 ...
  • Please guide me ,how cat i do the same ............

Can you tell the forum which steps you have taken so far, where you are stuck, if any errors occurred,...?

For an installation procedure, the website
http://tomcat.apache.org/
should help you on your way.

In addition, it could be helpful if you tell us which Linux system (RedHat,...) you want to install this on, and (if needed) which versions you want to install.

6.0.26 seems to be the latest.
Did you download it from http://tomcat.apache.org/download-60.cgi - .zip or .tar.gz file - I'm assuming the binary distribution, not
the one with source code?
