Apache Question

Hi,

I am hoping to achieve the following with Apache 2.2.0 running on a Fedora Core 3 test server.

Say someone tries to acess a folder on my webserver thats not there,i.e they go to http://www.myserver.bla/nofolder, and nofolder is non existent on the server,i want them to get redirected to my default index page.

How can i achieve this,I'm sure their must be a way?

Thanks for any help.

just set an ErrorDocument attribute for apache...

ErrorDocument 404 /missing.html

so if you hit a 404 then you'll be shown that page. that page could include a 302 redirection if you wish.
