apache problem in fedora core 3

I have strange problems with apache. When I start it (using apachectl start) I don't see any error messages, but it doesn't work (it doesn't open localhost page). I am using fedora core 3. Please also tell me where are error logs located to post them here.

I found the error messages (i tried to start httpd using Services Configuration Tool). It says:
httpd failed. The error was: Starting httpd: [Tue Sep 20 20:55:08 2005] [warn] module php4_module is already loaded, skipping [Tue Sep 20 20:55:08 2005] [warn] The Alias directive in /etc/httpd/conf/httpd.conf at line 501 will probably never match because it overlaps an earlier AliasMatch.
