Apache problem

Hello,
I installed Apache on my linux distro (suse 9.1) to the default directory (/usr/local/apache2) .. and then I realized I didn't want it there, so I installed it again under /www ... now, the apache path is still pointing to the /usr/local/apache2 directory. How can I change it so the localhost is now under the www/ directory? Is it safe to simply delete the /usr/local/apache2 directory? Or is there some uninstall process?

How did you installed it? From source or using Yast?
If you installed it from source (which I think is the case since you installed it in /usr/local/apache2) then you can delete /usr/local/apache2 keeping just the htdocs subdir if you have add your own pages. Just stop apache if it's running , delete the ditectory and restart it from the new one.
