Question Apache PHP4 Debian Sarge (2.6.8)

Hi,

I'm running Debian Sarge with kernel 2.6.8

I was going to install apache with php4 by using apt-get sources.
Apache is running fine and I configured php as described in many lamp tutorials.
However when I try to run a php script my browser asks me to download the raw file.

I'd be happy for any replies!

I run Debian Sarge with Apache 1.3 and PHP 4 (installed via apt-get)
Sounds like Apache doesn;t know how to handle/serve up the PHP pages....

Do you have these 2 lines in your httpd.conf file ?

AddType application/x-httpd-php .php .php3 .php4
AddType application/x-httpd-php-source .phps

If not, add them and restart Apache
