Apache and Symbolic Links

Hi,

I have symbolic link in /var/www/html directory pointing to /home/video/languages/gang file

But i when try to access this link, it says "Symbolic link is not allowed " in error.log

I do have the following entry in httpd.conf

Options Indexes FollowSymLinks

And I have disabled SELinux Option in /etc/selinux/config file.

And apache is running under same username that of the file

What else should i do to make it work.

it's urgent pls help me

thanx in advance

you can try to change the root directory instead of using a sim link -- just a thought

1) Turn back on SElinux. then chcon -R -h -t httpd_sys_content_t /home/video/languages/gang
2) I'm betting that /home/video is not readable by apache. chmod 755 /home/video
