Apache and PHP

I am running an Apache 1.3.28 server as a learning experience at http://65.35.20.182 and apparently I don't have PHP support. Now, being a learning experience to build on my admittedly lacking knowledge, I am using the default configuration for this Apache server that comes with Slackware 9.1. I've found how to compile PHP in when compiling Apache, but not how to add it now that's it's already running. Any help?

Instead of compiling your own, why don't you use the PHP Slackware package. It is in the n folder either on your Slackware disk or at your favorite Slackware mirror. If you're using the Apache that comes with Slackware, I believe it is already configured to use PHP.
