Apache & Frontpage '02

Hey all.

First off, I know this has been "somewhat" covered in other threads, but not quite.
Secondly, I figure a fresh start would be good considering the other threads are pretty old.
Thirdly, not my choice to use FP but I have to find out... the knowledge daemon insists!!!

Ok. Apache, and Frontpage. I used the ApacheToolbox for this one. Quite nice I'd have to say. Just search on "google" and you'll find it.

Easy to install, easy to follow. Will automatically "wget" packages you need. EXCEPT THE FP package. But put it in the src dir and away she bloz... *no offense to my fellow linux sister *

Anywho, after all the yada yada has been said and done, everything installed, compiled, make went well, as did make install.

Started up the apache daemon and boom, bada bing. The default apache web page pops up.

HOWEVER, it still doesn't support FP extensions. Go figure...
I've looked into all sorts of faqz, doqz, and so forth to no avail.
Basically, if I publish a page with a FP extension *or what MS calls is* it will not function correctly on the web page.

Basically, it pulls up the typical Apache error white page saying yada yada FP extensions needed...

Anyway, Has anyone actually had luck getting the FP to work correctly?
I only ask cuz I'm forced to use FP *DONT ASK... * at this point for a company thing.
Personally, I like vi better. But as I digress...

I'm not going to bore you with details of my systems because I believe the problem resides in the modules.

T.I.A.
