i have apache 1.3.26 and my friend told me it needs to be configured..b/c every time i go to my site now...it doesnt work...what needs to be configured and how do i do it? p.s. we have tried everything like wrong ip and stuff but it still dont work

It is too vague of a question. All configuration for apache webser is managed by httpd.conf file, also make sure your firewall does allow to connect to the webserver port.

When you say "doesn't work" what do you mean. Also, can you supply us with a bit more info...

To configure my apache I go to /etc/apache/httpd.conf
And I place my index.html in /var/www/htdocs

Any more info would be great to help you out.
