Apache 2 with Debian problem

I'm setting up Apache 2.0.43 with Debian Woody kernel 2.4.19. I compiled everything, edited httpd.conf and when i start Apache server - it doesn't do anything. I checked error_log and i found:

Code:

[Sat Nov 09 12:57:03 2002] [warn] pid file /usr/local/apache2/logs/httpd.pid overwritten -- Unclean shutdown of previous Apache run?
[Sat Nov 09 12:57:03 2002] [emerg] (38)Function not implemented: Couldn't create accept lock

are you upgrading from a previous version of apache? if so, maybe you needed to first purge its configuration files. apt-get does a great job of doing this for you, but if you compiled ver 2 from source then perhaps you have a dependency error.
