Question Apache 2.0.49 running on SuSE 9.0

Ciao to EveryBody..

This is my question:

I have installed the Server Apache2 on my SuSE Linux OS..

I have installed it under /usr/local/Apache2 filesystem, and I had do to
the installation steps as root..

Launching Apache Server as root I had no problems..

May I can run it also as another classic user?

Because I tried and Apache said:

(13) Permission Denied: make_sok: could not bind to address [::]:80
no listening sockets available, shutting down
Unable to open logs

??
