Anyone know how to install openPKG?

Hi there,

Does anyone know how to install openPKG?

I have looked at their site for hours (click here), but I'm really new to Linux, and I can't figure out what its talking about.

I tried installing it from an openpkg.src.rpm I downloaded from the site, but when I tried to do:

rpmbuild --rebuild openpkg.src.rpm

su'd as root, I got a *lot* of errors, to the effect of:

trc is not a user: using root
trc is not a group: using root
trc is not a user: using root
trc is not a group: using root
trc is not a user: using root
trc is not a group: using root
trc is not a user: using root
trc is not a group: using root
trc is not a user: using root
trc is not a group: using root
trc is not a user: using root
trc is not a group: using root
etc..........

It might not have been trc, but i'm sure it was something like that.

I really need to get this installed asap, ANY help would be greatly appreciated!!

Thanks.

If all it's doing is complaining about users and groups I don't think you have much to worry about. It should generate the installable rpm for you. I've run into this before with different things and it's never been an issue.
