I use OpenVPN here for the company I work for we moved from a PPTP VPN to OpenVPN, I run the server on Debian Lenny and the clients are Windows clients. Works very well. I am not as familiar with CentOS and services, but I can say that under Debian it was really easy, when I installed it, it automatically entered it in teh services and starts at boot, just edited the config file generated the keys and we were off to the races. I also use Webmin to administer the openVPN server with a module plugin.
