Any software to access mobile phones?

I was wondering if there is any software to access mobile phones (I have a Nokia 6288), like there is gnomad2 (and others) for mp3-players. Thank you.

Gnokii maybe (if it was called that)? And presumably Google could find you others too, if you search for Gnokii's site for some terms it uses, and use them as search strings.

There is a data cable to connect the Nokia 6282 to your computer. Look here
http://www.cellphoneshop.net/causbdacafor1.html

I tried it and when I type "dmesg" at a console I see a lot of information abot the phone
the only problem is I don't have a clue how to use this information, and I dont have the spare time right now to play with it.
