Any software for blocking viruses?

We get a lot of E-Mail around my work. A lot of E-Mail means a lot of viruses trying to sneak in.

We're actually fairly safe. The office runs predominantly on Apple computers. Mainly iBooks. But those virus laden mails, like any spam, are always coming through.

Is there any good, effective way to fight these off, and stop them from cluttering up the mail boxes? At present, we rely on Procmail. Unfortunately, Procmail only works to stop further spread of viruses, and won't work until after a few samples have been gathered. With new viruses coming every day, this old method is starting to lose its luster.

So I'm looking for a better way. Something I can use to prevent viruses all together, without the need for sampling first.

I would highly recommend MailScanner, it works with most major MTA's except qmail, and some AV (eg, clamav) and spamassassin plug straight into it
