Any software exist to check the health status of the harddisk?


For example, spin up time, bad sector....

I use the manufacturer's utilities for checking hard drives.
They check the electronics and the disk. Not sure they will do all you want.

Take a look at smartmontools. It will read the SMART data from hard drives. This allows you to monitor health without taking your system down.
