Question Any good video recorder for bt878?


I have a hauppage tv card which works all right under kdetv.
I want a video recorder application so i can record tv shows from my tv.
Know any good pvr ?

I use 'streamer' which is part of the xaw package - found here: http://linux.bytesex.org/xawtv/ .
And, yes, it is command line.

Just to save you some time, here is the basic command line I use. It should get your started.

streamer -i Composite1 -n ntsc -t 00:00:30 -s 480x360 -r 29.0 -o file001.avi -f mjpeg -F stereo
Personally, I've had minimul luck recording with a GUI program.

Command line would use less of a load on a system than one with a gui interface. I will make a note of that line there tw001_tw. I like the simple way myself.
