Antivirus and Antispyware

I installed Zorin OS 3 on a flash drive successfully and I would like to know how to install antivirus and antispyware apps on it also.It does have WINE on /in it also.

Look at using ClamAV for antivirus (there are no active viruses for Linux today, but this may change. If you are sharing files with Windows clients an antivirus program is a good idea). There are no antispyware programs for Linux because spyware programs aren't written for it.

Most "big" antivirus vendors have a Linux version, but it is only to scan for Windows viruses. Linux viruses are too rare to care about. stay out of root account and your fine.

The only reason you would want anti-virus software on Linux is when you are afraid you can copy an infected file to a Windows machine.

Remember, Linux is 100% immune to Windows viruses, because it simply doesn't understand Windows executables!
