another question about lilo splash screen

i have searched at google about haww to make a graphic splash screen of lilo, but all the informations that i found spoke about a resolution of 640 × 480 and i the my resolution is 1024x768 can someone help me to make an adequate splash screen for my PC.:Pengy:

I hink the idea is to do it in a standard vga mode due to video driver issues...

Where can I find info on how to make my own Lilo Splash for Mandrake? :study:
I'm not talking about changing it by other already made but how to make it from scratch with my own images...

Ah! The version "message" and not the other one that uses a bmp :)
