Another program like "dd", is there?

Hello people,

The cloning software for Linux "dd" is very powerful but when it does its job, for example, a Linux partition with 3 GB but only 1 GB used, the "dd" software creates a "full" 3GB image. Is there another software for Linux that we can use to clone a partition that use only the used space?
