anonymous upload with vsftp

Hi there!

I have vsftp 1.0.1 running on SuSE 8.0. Anonymous upload works, but files are created with mode 600 and dirs with 700. I want to change this behaviour, so that anonymous upload create files with mode 666 and dirs with 777, but everything i tried failed.

Changing the local_umask in the config-file doesn't change anything (!). The user ftp (who is the local pseudo-user) has umask 022, which would be ok for me. If is su to him locally and create files they have mode 644. I don't understand why this isn't being done via vsftp?

Can anybody give a hint? I have no idea left, so the Internet...

Thanks in advance!

-Daniel
