And then all of a sudden, everything broke.


My apologies for the vague topic...but that's pretty much what happened. I posted a thread - http://www.linuxquestions.org/questi...hreadid=120805 - in Hardware a while ago and immediately forgot about it, because I haven't been using this computer a lot lately. I got back to it today and noticed that not only everything 3D now fails to run, but so does konsole. I can just as easily use another terminal, but I'd like to know what in the hell would stop konsole from working without even giving me an error message.
BTW I don't quite remember whether it was my opengl failing that caused me to try and install nvidia's drivers or if it was my trying to install nvidia's drivers without knowing what I was doing that caused my opengl to fail....
