&<forward address> in .qmail file not working
 

G'day all,
I am trying to set up qmail to forward mail sent to one user to another user. The dot-qmail man page sayes to add the address of the user to forward to with a "&" at the start to a .qmail file. This does not seem to work. I am using vpopmail to manage the mail accounts so all my users .qmail files are under /home/vpopmail/domains/MYDOMAIN. Everything I have read sayes this is the correct way to do forwarding so why is it not working? Putting the full path of the Maildir that the mail is to be forwarded to in the useres .qmail file works but I need to know why using the "&<address>" method does not work.
