Ancient samba config still optimal?
 
I've got a truely ancient samba config for a shared drive in a small office.. is it still the optimal config? It certainly works!

I'm still using the same basic smb.conf file (with small variations from machine to machine) that I came up with six years ago, with the help of Samba by Example.

I don't have Samba 4 installed yet, so I don't know if whether the version change will affect it.
