AMule/XMule and Windows eMule compatability

Hi All,

I a computer running MS Windows and eMule.
The eMule is one the most important tasks the computer does.
I have about 40GB of file in download process (partial downloaded).

Every time I switched different computers installed/uninstalled eMule I was able just to copy the partial files and to eMule directory and it was running ok.

I want to move to Linux (Debian Sarge).
I know there is AMule and XMule sharing clinets avialable however I'd like to know if I will be able to import current partially downloaded files to [A/X]Mule directory as I did with windows one. Are these files compatable?

It is very important because I have quite big amount of partially downloaded files. I'd like to to loose all the data because of lack of compartability.

Thank you.

Hi,

I already have done that, moving files in emule temp directiry to the same directory in amule few months ago and it was ok.

It took a bit of time to amule to re-hash the files but it worked really fine

have a nice evening

ps : i largely prefer amule to xmule (visual tastes lol)
