amarok won't mtp transfer anymore

I recently got a zen vision:m and have loaded quite a bit of music on it using amarok and the libmtp and gnomad2 package. But I had the bad idea of adding tracks to the transfer queue during a transfer and since then, I have not been able to add more tracks. I've reset the device but that has made no difference

I've run Amarok from the command line hoping to see some explanation about the problem but to no avail so far: there is no error message during the multiple transfer failures.

Any help most appreciated

Thanks

Found a way round the problem : I use gnomad2 directly. There is an error at each file transfer but the transfers are successful nonetheless.

Hi, I have the same problem with my Samsung YP-K3! I also cannot transfer to the device. It is recognized, I can load the listing, I can even delete files on it, but I can NOT upload files!?! Gnomad2 works fine...

Did you find a solution besides not using Amarok? I mean: Gnomad2 really is not the most sophisticated tool for managing a library and loading up songs to a player... to my mind!

I would love to be able to do it with Songbird! Or at least with Amarok...

...any help appreciated!

Not found any solution. Will probably work again for a while next time I do a clean install of the whole system.... Which won't happen for a long while.....

The only thing I'd like from gnomad2 is a sync option instead of having to select what goes and what doesn't ....

Hm, Well yes: Gnomad2 at least works... but well, no: it is not as handy... having one application that does both managing the music files (i.e. incl. mp3 tag support, creation of playlists, etc.) and uploading them to my device would be way better! ;)
