Question amarok sees each file twice in fat32 partition

I just installed a new 250GB Sata hd. I made a 50GB partition with the fat32 file system, so I could store all my music there, and listen to it from linux and from windows. The problem is that amarok (I am using the 1.4.3 version) sees every file in that partition twice. Each song appears twice as if there were two files of each track, something that is extremely uncomfortable specially when I am trying to listen to a whole album...
Every other program that I have tried so far has no problems whatsoever with this partition. Any ideas?

Have you tried deleting all of amarok's temporary hidden files to sort of flush its configuration? I believe I've had that problem before and all I did was delete all my information on it in my home directory and everything was fine after that.

HTH,

I erased the collection's database files. That solved the problem (the files are stored in /home/user/.kde/share/apps/amarok in my distribution, somebody else could find this useful...). I lost all my ratings, but I couldn't care less...
Thanks a lot Centinul.

No problem at all! I'm glad it worked.

It would be helpful if you could place a [SOLVED] marker in your original subject so others know a solution.

Thanks,
