Amarok freeze when i change songs

Well, it play only one song then it freeze. When I run it in console it doesnt seems to be any problem but when it have to play another song it add this line

Code:
"*** glibc detected *** corrupted double-linked list: 0x090970c8 ***"
then I have to kill it with
"killall amarokapp"
I had Amarok 1.3.9, but the problem is still there even if i instaled 1.4. Under root account it worked flawless.

thanks

Try removing the amarok directory:

~/.kde/share/apps/amarok

and the file:

~/.kde/share/config/amarokrc

Then restart...

This should remove a possible currupt database or playlist...

I'm sorry for updating this thread dead so long ago, but i've reached the same problem.

I'm using Debian testing, with Amarok 1.4.9.1 and, with a clean install, dist-upgrade and after loading some songs in my playlist, it starts to play, and after some songs, it suddenly freezes, only answering to "killall amarokapp" (and sometimes, when amarok freezes, it blocks the keyboard, so i have to do it opening manually a terminal (konsole) and copy-pasting as i can the letters to write it.

For more info, this is the error:

$ *** glibc detected *** amarokapp: corrupted double-linked list: 0xb2e02728 ***
======= Backtrace: =========
/lib/i686/cmov/libc.so.6[0xb75b8fb9]
/lib/i686/cmov/libc.so.6[0xb75bad4d]
/lib/i686/cmov/libc.so.6(__libc_malloc+0x8d)[0xb75bcb1d]
/usr/lib/kde3/libamarok_xine-engine.so[0xb2fb4533]
/usr/lib/xine/plugins/1.23/xineplug_decode_vorbis.so[0xb43f4199]

I also have a memory map, which is quite long.

Any idea?
