And what if it running to the background/?
For example i have exclty the same problem with kaffeine
Code:
akroneiro:/home/alaios # ps -aux | grep kaffeine
Warning: bad ps syntax, perhaps a bogus '-'? See http://procps.sf.net/faq.html
alaios 3632 0.0 0.0 140792 900 ? D 12:08 0:01 kaffeine
root 9079 0.0 0.0 2756 696 pts/2 R+ 14:19 0:00 grep kaffeine
akroneiro:/home/alaios # kill -9 3632
akroneiro:/home/alaios # ps -aux | grep kaffeine
Warning: bad ps syntax, perhaps a bogus '-'? See http://procps.sf.net/faq.html
alaios 3632 0.0 0.0 140792 900 ? D 12:08 0:01 kaffeine
root 9087 0.0 0.0 2756 712 pts/2 S+ 14:20 0:00 grep kaffeine
But still cant kill kaffeine programme. Same think with amarok.
Is it possible to take advantage of the process running in backround?
