None of my music files are on a separate partition. Also, there is a new tool called NTFS-3G (which I have installed) that allows Linux to write to NTFS partitions, so I don't think there would be a problem either way.
I also downloaded this program called EasyTAG, but it needs
mpeg4ip to edit M4A tags. So I went ahead and got that, but when I try to install, it gives me errors:
Quote:
$ ./bootstrap
dir: .
SDL appears to be installed
Error - we have detected a version of faac that has libmp4v2 support
and no copy of mpeg4ip-config. This means faac was built with
faad2 and the libraries will be incompatible.
Please reinstall faac without mp4v2 support

I'm thinking if I can get mpeg4ip to install, Amarok might be able to edit M4A tags. Any ideas?
