Amarok
I have slackware 10.2 and I used the command installpkg amarok-1.3.5-i486-1kjz.tgz . and i assume it installed amarok. Now how do I run it?
|
when I go to /opt/kde/bin and run amarok i get
"Don't run gdb, valgrind, etc. against this binary! Use amarokapp. amarokapp: error while loading shared libraries: libtunepimp.so.2: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory " |
Now I get
"amarokapp: error while loading shared libraries: libtunepimp.so.2: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory " |
I'm not familiar with Slackware or the way that dependencies are handled, but it looks to me like you're missing the tunepimp libraries - have you verified that they actually exist?

they didnt, so i went to install them, but i needed this thing so i installed it but i still get the following after installing it..
checking for mb_GetVersion in -lmusicbrainz... no * * The MusicBrainz client library needs to be installed * to build this plugin. Please download the library from * http://www.musicbrainz.org/download * configure: error: "Cannot build. Stop." but i did do it.. |
If you already installed musicbrainz then maybe you need to do /sbin/ldconfig and then try to install the tunepimp libs.
