Amarok 1.4.1 - "permanently" add removable media? (Kubuntu 6.06)
While setting my friend's machine up to Dual Boot with XP, we ate a lot of her hard drive space. Our solution, for a variety of reasons, was to add an external USB drive to store her music collection.
Now that she has this drive and some of her music (but not all) we used Amarok to "Add Media..." successfully. But at the next boot up into Kubuntu and starting of Amarok, that new music is gone from the Amarok DB, and needs to be added again (via the same method as the first time).
Is there any way to add this on a more permanent basis? True, the drive will occasionally be removed, so I am not sure of the complications this will give to Amarok and its Database.
Any ideas or suggestions?
