Hi,

Is there an open source alternative (or alternative that will run on linux) to Microsoft's Mindmap ?

Thanks.

I always like to check out Sourceforge. The majority of OSS apps available are hosted there. And if I find something that interests me, I can always check to see if it's in my distro's repositories first before downloading directly.

Here's what a search for "mindmap" turned up:

Thanks for the tip. I ask here to get people's oppinions on what they tried, and what they prefer, knowing how many alternatives there are in open source, I can't really afford to install and try every one on that list.

However, i guess i'll just choose the first one since its activity is 99.01%

Edit: freemind is already in portage, so i'll give that a try.

Thanks.
