ALSA+Sound Card Move == UAH?

I'm hoping someone might know what my problem is here. I recently replaced my motherboard/processor and wound up having to move my sound card to a different PCI slot. Now none of my audio works.

I recompiled 2.6.7 with sound support (not a module) and enabled the EMU10k1 driver for my Audigy 2. dmesg and lspci show that my card is being detected just fine, but when I run alsaconf no cards are detected. Moreover, when I try to play any audio, the apps run (i.e. XMMS) but I simply get no sound.

I've checked everything I can think of including using /dev/dspX instead of just /dev/dsp0. Permissions look good. I ran apt-get and reinstalled alsa-base and alsa-utils as well.

The only thing that appears to have "broken" ALSA is moving the PCI card from one slot to another (moving it back isn't really an option).

Does anyone have any ideas as to what might be the problem?

Enable EMU10k1 driver as a module "m" alsa should be able to see it then.Just make sure it is loaded
Code:
lsmod
then try alsaconf again,good luck
