alsa-driver installation problem on Fedora 10 2.6.27.10 kernel

In my f10 the sound switches On and OFF..any help plss??

same problem here.

EDIT: I used ./configure ... --with-kernel and tried different installed kernel-trees until it worked and I could compile the modules. I did all this because ALSA was working only partially before, unfortunatelly now I don't have ANY sound. I keep working on it.

I am just wondering why you do build a complete new kernel just because of ALSA? Wouldn't it make more sense to build it as a kernel module and loading/unloading all your test versions, until it works for you?

This isn't about building a new kernel anyway. The alsa-driver package needs kernel sources to build the snd-modules.
