i never played a RPG tho.. keeping track of your inventory and stuff is just not fun sounding to me.

Not me Ben, I LOVE RPG's. I actually get sick from the first person shooters, so I look for RPG's if I am lookin for games.

:)

Go linux go! :D

Oh my...

Have to calm down. Wow, NWN, is coming native to Linux. I could cry! :D

Though, saying as I've already bought the version for windows, will I have to buy it again for Linux? I would if I had to, but would rather not...

MasterC 12-24-2002 12:30 PM

Probably not, it seems that most of the time there is a patch of some sort for those who have purchased the windoze version(s).

Cool

NWN *GNU*/Linux client is jsut a drop in. you WILL need the win32 version because most of the files are the same.

I talked to a developer there, I asked why we they don't ship a seperate gnu/linux version and he replied; "We Would love to but it's not up to us, Our publisher is pretty much in charge of all of that".

:( so, if true, we're going to have to get up on these publishers and nag em :) hepefully posting the link in the first msg of the thread gave them some extra hits to understand there is a demand :)

You will also be able to buy a "Linux version" from Tux games, so
if you haven't bought the 'doze version, you can get that with the
Linux patches on the same disk. . . http://www.tuxgames.com
I am rather disappointed in how long it's taken to get the linux code
out, but I'll probably still buy it once it's available. . .
