Allowing remote X users to sudo

Just out of curiosity: Is there a way to allow users from a remote account (say, those connecting to the X server from a remote location) to sudo? What kind of account do you need to add to /etc/sudoers to be able to allow this to happen?

Sudo should be independent of the connection. If you grant someone sudo access to a command, they can use sudo remotely or locally. Here is a decent tutorial on using sudo, but if you're more specific about what you're after, maybe we can give some more specific advice.
