Talking Airlive WN-380USB problem

Hi,
I've recently bought airlive wn-380usb adapter and I'm having problems setting it up. I'm using Debian 8 64-bit. When I connect it to the notebook the led is not blinking and the network manager doesn't detect it. I figured out that there was no drivers. Official linux drivers failed to make so I installed windows drivers with ndiswrapper. If I put any win vista ++ driver it shows huge amount of errrors. If I put Windows XP 64 bit , I get kernel panic when I turn on the adapter. And when I put Windows XP 32 bit I get this message.

Btw. the official drivers don't support this kernel.
Is there any way to make this device work on newer linux versions?

Kind regards,

Would start by issuing lsusb in terminal to find out chipset card is using and than try with latest Linux Mint that comes with ndiswrapper properly pre-installed and non free drivers to find out how things are turning out. have seen many people having ndiswrapped wrongly installed. If you can't switch HDD you can try out Mint with unetbootin.
