Airfart -- wlanctl-ng: Operation not supported

Hi there,

I wish to use airfart to check the wireless signal strength to see is it consistent with the signal strength level i get from /proc/net/wireless to ensure that the signal strength level i get from /proc/net/wireless is reliable. However, airfart that I had installed cannot function, it gives me the error message "wlanctl-ng: Operation not supported".

when i checked back the installation file of airfart, it states that "To use Airfart, you must have the linux-wlan-ng prism2_cs driver installed and working."

However, the wireless adapter i used is using ndiswrapper which is using WINDOWS drivers. Is it the problem that cause airfart cannot function? Is there any solution for it? Or are there any software recommended besides airfart?

Another question of mine is the signal strength level i get when using command iwconfig is in dbm (for example, -54dbm), but the value i get from /proc/net/wireless is around 200. How it convert the value get from /proc/net/wireless to dbm in iwconfig?

Thanks for advices.
