aimsniff help newbee
 

Hey I was wondering if anyone can tell me how to install aimsniff onto my 700m. I am running ubuntu breezy.

the README file asks me to install these dependencies

Requires Samba to perform SMB lookup features.



Requires the following perl modules:

Net::Pcap;

NetPacket::Ethernet qw(:strip);

NetPacket::IP qw(:strip);

NetPacket::TCP;

NetPacket::UDP;

DBI;

Unicode::String qw(utf8 latin1 utf16);

Proc::Daemon;

Proc::Simple;

FileHandle;

Unix::Syslog;

GDBM_File;


i dont know if i have them aleady and where to get them. also when i try to run ./aimSniff it says that the file does not exist can anyone help?

If the file doesn't exist then you'll need to download and install the application if you are trying to run it from the current directory then make sure you are in the correct directory to start with.
