After FC3 Install

After installing the Fedora Core 3 on my Desktop (80G HD - 2 partitions of 40G - one containing NTFS), the computer screen flickers with multiple colors and then goes black after being prompted to accept the License agreement. Since I can't even get into the core, I can't see why the graphics are failing.

Have you tried installing in text mode?

No I have not.. I am not as familiar with the text commands.. but I will try

I experienced a similar problem with FC4 but the server would reboot just after accepting the license. I was able to get around this by turning the monitor off immediately after skipping the media check. I wait about 5 min and turn the monitor back on, you should be into the GUI installer. Not sure if it will help but it worked for me.
